In a short space of time training with Steve I’d quickly lost 3 stone. I have now maintained this
weight for over a year and couldn’t be happier with how I look and feel both on the outside as well
as the inside!
I will always be someone that has to train hard and eat well to look good. Fortunately for me I’ve
always enjoyed exercise but I went slightly off the rails in 2012 due to a bad relationship and gained
weight gradually as I stopped exercising in the manner I always had. When I started training with
Steve I was at my all time heaviest.
I have trained with him for twice a week and coupled this with other forms of exercise such as
spinning, running, mountain biking and circuit training. I obviously made some changes to my diet
Training with Steve is always fun and never the same. He always varies my work outs and I never
leave the gym feeling as though I could have given any more. He is highly motivating and a great
confidence builder. On those few days I arrive at the gym feeling tired and not my best, he will find
the exercise demon within and I will be buzzing by the end of our session.
I have always really enjoyed exercise but typically stuck to classes as well as running and cycling.
Steve regularly incorporates weight training into my sessions, something I guess as a woman I was
somewhat afraid of. The results have been amazing. The fat seemed to literally drop off of me and
without having to drastically change my diet. We also regularly box too something which I greatly
enjoy and an area he is clearly highly knowledgeable in.
Steve is not your typical PT and is a realist. I love his approach to diet and exercise – maintaining
that both in moderation will help you achieve your fitness and weight goals. We have never spent
hours tearing apart my diet and stepping on the scales, more we have looked at the physical results
which have been obvious in weight loss, muscle gain and an overall increased fitness.
I highly recommend Steve as a trainer to help you achieve your fitness goals.
